Ilan has impressively out-nerded himself (I can\'t speak for Justin\'s regular nerdiness as I\'m not familiar with it although I\'ve seen his online moniker for years). I don\'t understand all of the geek-speak but am quite amused and think I subconsciously learned a few things as I listened while multitasking.
Um, like, who knew that those years of, like, Toastmasters would pay off? Okay, maybe \"pay\" is the wrong word...
You two make a great team, like Jack Black and Kyle Gass. I think you two should sing the greatest song in the world. Or a tribute. Do either of you play guitar? How about the recorder or kazoo?
And speaking of music, love the theme song. It\'s catchy, and not in a bad way.
P.S. \"reCAPTCHA\" is a fun word to say (as I read it below).
If I were transported to the 1970\'s, I\'d be sure to give Stephen Harper an atomic wedgie, as he walked around the halls of my high school.
Another great -cast, guys! Highlights:having a common theme; the tidbits of personal info; revealing the pricing of stuff; the mention of un-necessary packaging; spoilers and the show notes. There were like almost no \"um\'s\" in this broadcast, and as always, witty! I am so glad that I have started listening. ..can\'t wait to travel to the 70\'s with you.
oh, p.s. thanks for feedback to my last string of opinion / comments =)
Thanks again, Celia!
Our next one has been recorded -- we\'ve aggressively tried a too-aggressive schedule (weekly, which I don\'t think we can swing consistently) -- and it\'s actually a fun one though it\'s going to be full of \"um\"s, devoid of theme, longer than normal, and wildly hilarious as I struggle vainly to stay on-topic!
It has a special guest - which is sort of a theme in itself - and I hope it\'s fun! It\'s a divergence from our planned usual style (which Episode 2 is closest to) but I think that comic geeks in particular will enjoy the analysis our guest brings.
Although he calls a lot of them \"stupid\".
